Meet Cooper, a truly versatile and dependable 15 hand gelding with countless trail miles throughout the Midwest. Cooper is the kind of horse that has seen it all and takes new challenges in stride. He is no stranger to crossing water, navigating ditches and steep hills, or carrying saddle bags down the trail.

Cooper is easy to catch and happy to greet you in the pasture. He stands perfectly to be mounted, whether you prefer to get on from the ground or a mounting block. He is an easy keeper, loads easily, and hauls quietly.

Under saddle, Cooper has a lovely jog and lope, with a smooth lope departure and effortless transitions. He side passes, performs 360-degree turns, backs softly, and is willing and responsive to his rider. 

Cooper would be suitable for a youth all the way up to the "galloping grannies" looking to show in the ranch classes. He confidently completes trail obstacles including bridges, gates, log drags, backing through, and side-pass overs.

He is equally comfortable riding alone or in a group and has the experience and temperament to make trail riding enjoyable and uncomplicated.

Cooper is also a pleasure to handle on the ground. He is easy to clip (including his ears) likes a good bath, and genuinely enjoys spending time with people. He is very friendly, personable, and eager to please.
